Our food and drink policy can vary depending on the venue, so please check the event page before you go.
Drinks
Most shows either have drinks for sale, or allow you to bring your own (BYOB). You can find out which applies to your show in the 'Show Details' section on the event page:
Already booked? The drinks policy is on the event page found in your dashboard, and it'll be in the email with the address, too.
If you’ll be bringing your drinks to the show, please bring your own utensils (including cups and bottle openers), too.
Please note - if there is no BYOB tag on the event page or in the address email, outside drinks will not be permitted. You can bring a water bottle, though!
Food
Food policies vary by show, so check "Show details" on the event page.
If there's no mention of food for sale, there won't be any. If there's nothing saying you can't bring food, feel free to bring snacks.
Need to bring food for medical or religious reasons? Get in touch and we'll give the team a heads up.
Can I see the menu?
Sofar shows happen in all kinds of spaces, including independently owned restaurants, bars, and cafés. These venues operate separately from Sofar (we're their guests), so food, drinks, pricing, and serving staff are all managed by the venue.
If your show has food or drinks available, we may include some menu details in your address email as a courtesy. You can also check the venue's website, though menus are subject to change at their discretion. For questions about specific items, dietary needs, or pricing, contact the venue directly.
