Once you’ve responded to a booking invitation, our booking teams will select one artist for each performance slot out of those who have indicated they’re available - so accepting an invitation confirms your availability for a slot, but it doesn’t guarantee a booking.
If you’re booked, you’ll receive an email to confirm your show, and it will appear in the Booked Shows section of your Artist Dashboard.
If a booking invitation says ‘Pending’, this means the team is still waiting for more responses before confirming artists for each slot.
If it says ‘No longer available’, or has disappeared, this means the show has been filled by another artist, or was canceled.
Please note: receiving a booking invitation means our team is considering you for a slot, but it doesn’t guarantee a booking. If you haven’t played your first Sofar show yet, you’ll continue to receive booking invitations as new slots open up. How often this happens depends on availability in your city, so we can’t give a specific timeline for when your next invitation will come.
