Can I use backing tracks?
Live accompaniment is strongly preferred – we want to set our artists up to be as well received as possible, and we find this happens more with live instrumentation. If you need to use backing tracks, we ask that you clear this with your booking contact first.
Can I play covers?
Covers can be a great way to capture the room, but since most Sofars are an original music showcase, we ask that you include no more than one cover unless you are specifically booked for a covers event - be sure to put your own unique spin on it, too!
