There are three steps to confirm your place at a Sofar show.
Apply for tickets
The first step in attending a Sofar is applying for tickets. You can apply for every event you are interested in attending (there’s no limit).
- You can see the current status of all of your ticket applications in Your Events
- You can also skip the queue and buy tickets right away by using the Sofar mobile app (only available in select cities), or with a promo code.
If your application is chosen from the ticket lottery, we'll send you an email to confirm your tickets.
In many of our cities there are hundreds (or thousands!) of guests applying for every show, so it’s not always possible to invite every guest that applies - even after applying many times. Our tip for getting in? Always leave a note for the team with your application so it sticks out.
If you haven't heard back from us and there's less than 48 hours before the show, it likely means that your application was not selected. Please apply again for another Sofar!
If you're selected, you will receive an email inviting you to confirm your spot at the show. Click “Yes! I’m coming.”, which will direct you to the event page. Before confirming, double check the event details, as some cities have multiple events on the same day.
- If the "Yes! I'm coming" button isn't working, you can visit Your Events to find the event page and confirm tickets.
- If the event page says the show is sold out, then all of the tickets have been confirmed and the venue is at capacity. Please apply for another Sofar!
Once you've confirmed tickets, the event status will update to "Reserved" or "You're In."
Issue with confirming tickets
If you tried confirming tickets but you haven't received a receipt or confirmation email after 10 minutes, it’s likely that your payment didn’t go through (click here for more info).
