Will I need to show proof of vaccination to attend a Sofar?
As of January 1st, 2022, Sofar requires all guests, artists and Sofar staff to provide proof of vaccination in order to attend shows in most markets. Negative COVID test results will not be accepted for entry. In some areas, stricter rules may apply.
Please make sure to review the event page for any Sofar you will be attending for the specific requirements for that show. This policy was implemented in the interest of the safety and peace of mind for you and the rest of our community.
What if my city/state/country has a vaccine mandate for indoor events?
In areas with vaccine related mandates, we are required to adhere to the guidelines for indoor events as set forth by those mandates. This means that in some areas, we can only accept proof of vaccination in order to attend an indoor show. This information will be stated on the event page for all relevant shows, and will be communicated to ticket holders in event-related emails.
What if the venue has a different policy?
Some venues have specific policies in place regarding vaccine status or testing that may be more strict than local regulation. Sofar is complying with these policies. The relevant information will be available on the event page, and will be communicated to ticket holders in event-related emails.
What if something changes after I bought my tickets?
If for any reason there are changes to the COVID-19 vaccination and testing policies for a specific show, we will contact ticket holders with as much advance notice as possible. If you're no longer able to attend due to a change, please reach out to our team for assistance.
